High school diploma or GED and related maintenance experience or training, Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues within buildings and common areas, Troubleshoot problems and perform repairs in compliance with safety standards and codes, Manage inventory, schedule vendors, and track materials used, Adhere to safety protocols and report incidents promptly, Effective communication with management, residents, vendors, and contractors, EPA Type I and II or Universal certification (or willingness to obtain), Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on the property, Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier loads, Comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders, Ability to work full-time including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed, Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to wear required PPE

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality and address property needs
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants
  • Manage inventory and order supplies
  • Maintain documentation and assist in grounds upkeep
  • Participate in safety protocols and support cost-cutting efforts
  • Serve on a rotating on-call schedule with weekend, evening, and morning availability
