Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Completing work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance
• Conducting inspections to ensure quality and address property needs
• Preparing vacant apartments for new tenants
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies
• Maintaining documentation
• Assisting in grounds upkeep
• Supporting cost-cutting efforts
• Participating in safety protocols
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule including weekends, evenings, and mornings

Requirements

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues within buildings and common areas
• Experience with troubleshooting, repairs in compliance with safety standards, and preventive maintenance
• Proficiency in managing inventory, scheduling vendors, and tracking materials
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with management, residents, and contractors
• High School diploma/GED and related experience or training
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have or be willing to obtain EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal
