About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on CNCs, PLC-controlled systems, and automated manufacturing machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including gearboxes, conveyors, and automation cells.
- Diagnose faults using electrical/mechanical schematics, ladder logic, and HMI diagnostics.
- Install, align, and commission new machinery, including rigging, leveling, and anchoring.
- Maintain and repair CNC press brakes, lasers, punch presses, and extrusion equipment.
- Perform wiring and modifications following NFPA 70/NEC standards.
- Execute basic MIG/TIG/Stick welding and light fabrication tasks.
- Support plant utilities including HVAC, plumbing, and compressed air systems.
- Complete work orders and follow all LOTO, machine guarding, and PPE safety procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in PLC/HMI troubleshooting.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand for up to twelve hours per day.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certificate or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies.
- Experience with industrial lifting equipment.
- Basic plumbing and HVAC maintenance experience.
