Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on CNCs, PLC-controlled systems, and automated manufacturing machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including gearboxes, conveyors, and automation cells.
• Diagnose faults using electrical/mechanical schematics, ladder logic, and HMI diagnostics.
• Install, align, and commission new machinery, including rigging, leveling, and anchoring.
• Maintain and repair CNC press brakes, lasers, punch presses, and extrusion equipment.
• Perform wiring and modifications following NFPA 70/NEC standards.
• Execute basic MIG/TIG/Stick welding and light fabrication tasks.
• Support plant utilities including HVAC, plumbing, and compressed air systems.
• Complete work orders and follow all LOTO, machine guarding, and PPE safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in PLC/HMI troubleshooting.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand for up to twelve hours per day.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certificate or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies.
• Experience with industrial lifting equipment.
• Basic plumbing and HVAC maintenance experience.
