Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production shifts
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment efficiency
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and perform necessary adjustments
• Maintain electronic records of all maintenance activities and repairs
• Comply with all electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
• Respond to emergency situations during and after hours as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience with 480V, 220V, 120V, and low voltage DC electrical controls/systems
• Electrical or mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand basic technical concepts
• Ability to operate motorized equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and fork trucks
• Ability to supply basic personal tools
• Experience as a Certified Journeyman, or an Associate's degree in a related field, or minimum of 4 years in industrial maintenance trades

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple complementary trades (electrical, mechanical, etc.)
• Prior experience troubleshooting in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of robotics and programming
• Experience reading PLC logic, process flow diagrams, and P&ID drawings
