Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Resolve unplanned down events and drive successful recoveries with high reliability
• Maintain ongoing preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum equipment performance
• Work closely with engineers and operations team to support equipment upgrade project timelines and objectives
• Ensure standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current and accurate
• Provide shift-to-shift communication summaries to keep team members aligned
• Manage existing spares inventory and maintain accuracy
• Document maintenance activities and equipment modifications
• Comply with company safety regulations and department safety programs

Requirements

• Four years or more of industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Experience in Mechatronics-Electrical and/or Controls Automation or Equipment Test in high-volume manufacturing
• Strong preventive maintenance development experience
• Ability to troubleshoot using mechanical and electrical schematics/diagram prints
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work night shift schedules, including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with reliability centered maintenance principles
• Project management and Lean Manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with CMMS
• Experience with SolidWorks to lookup assemblies and parts
• Experience in the food processing industry
