Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct general installation, maintenance, and repairs of company machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including circulating pumps, air handling systems, and refrigeration
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical components, appliances, and plumbing fixtures in accordance with pertinent codes
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required service
• Inspect facility areas to ensure housekeeping and safety provisions are adhered to
• Coordinate and monitor contractor activities for construction, renovation, or system updates
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records related to the maintenance department
• Manage facility aesthetics, including landscaping, painting, and snow/ice removal
• Remain available for on-call duties during off-shift hours and weekends

Requirements

• Community College degree in a related field
• Five years of experience in a mechanical/electrical capacity or industrial repair/maintenance
• Proven troubleshooting skills and strong analytical problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and email
• Valid driver’s license
• Physical ability to lift up to 75lbs
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of CAD, electrical control, and PLC software
• Knowledge of ISO TS14001 standards
• Experience with maintenance management systems
