Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and industrial repairs on equipment, including circulating pumps and air handling systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical components, plumbing fixtures, and various appliances in accordance with codes
• Inspect facility areas to ensure safety provisions and housekeeping standards are met
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute required service
• Detect faulty operations or defective materials and report unusual situations to supervision
• Participate in building maintenance, including minor construction, painting, and landscaping tasks
• Comply with all safety regulations and manage Environmental and Quality Management Systems (EMS/QMS)
• Remain available for on-call duties during off-shift hours and weekends as required

Requirements

• Five years of mechanical/electrical or industrial repair/maintenance experience
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work the midnight shift and handle physical tasks in indoor and outdoor environments
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Community College degree in a related field
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and email
• Experience with CAD and PLC software
• Knowledge of ISO TS14001 standards
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
