Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including circulating pumps, air handling systems, and refrigeration
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical components, appliances, and equipment
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures, piping, and related equipment
• Inspect facility areas to ensure housekeeping and safety standards are met
• Conduct minor construction, painting, decorating, and carpentry work
• Manage snow removal, ice safety, and landscaping tasks
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas
• Participate in building maintenance for new construction or renovations

Requirements

• Five years of mechanical/electrical tradesman or industrial repair experience
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends
• Proficiency with hand/power tools and electric meters
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Community College degree in a related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, CAD, and PLC software
• Knowledge of ISO TS14001
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
