Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, fabrication, and repairs on all production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Rebuild production equipment including air motors, hydraulic pumps, water pumps, and diaphragm pumps.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems by dismantling and assembling complicated machinery.
• Maintain Roll Mills, conveyor systems, air compressors, and ventilation systems.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to locate sources of problems.
• Operate cranes and lift trucks to move equipment and dies.
• Utilize welding equipment (MIG, Stick, and TIG) and shop tools like lathes and mills for fabrication.
• Complete work reports, process work orders, and make purchase requests for required parts.
• Comply with all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tag out and environmental guidelines.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical prints.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various physical conditions.
