Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, fabrication, and repairs on all production, support, and facility equipment.
• Rebuild production equipment including air motors, hydraulic pumps, water pumps, and diaphragm pumps.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems by dismantling and assembling complicated machinery.
• Maintain Roll Mills, conveyor systems, air compressors, and ventilation systems.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to locate problem sources.
• Operate shop equipment including lathes, mills, hand grinders, and welding tools (MIG, Stick, and TIG).
• Complete work reports at the end of each shift and manage work orders and parts requests.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and environmental policies.

Requirements

• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints/blueprints.
• Knowledge of hydraulic components and systems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various industrial environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with welding (MIG, Stick, or TIG).
• Experience operating cranes and lift trucks.
• Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
