Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, repair, or replacement of parts and production equipment
• Conduct fitting and alignment of mechanical components to ensure proper functioning
• Utilize troubleshooting techniques to provide temporary and long-term fixes to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and correct maintenance issues on statement and invoice equipment, mail inserters, and printers
• Analyze and interpret schematic diagrams for electronic troubleshooting
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule for production machines and electrical/electronic equipment
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders and monitor progress throughout the facility

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of progressive maintenance repair and electronic/mechanical troubleshooting experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, and soldering equipment
• Experience using a computer for data entry
• Willingness to pursue further education or certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or equivalent military training
• 5+ years of production maintenance with electronic repair experience
• Experience with IP5000, HP Roll-to-Roll printers, or Ricoh Cut Sheet Printers
• Experience with BlueCrest, APS, MPS, or EPIC inserting equipment
• Experience with APEX or Criterion sorters
