Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment, facility structures, grounds and utilities
• Perform work order repairs, preventive maintenance inspections, equipment rebuilds, and adjustments
• Set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, and other metal working equipment
• Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs
• Fabricate, innovate, and modify new and existing equipment
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are met during all repair activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and basic electrical repair
• Ability to read and interpret documents, schematics, and drawings
• Computer literacy in MS Office and Plant Controls Software
• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to stand, kneel, climb, and lift for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or a technical trade certificate
