About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and compressed air systems.
  • Execute work orders within the CMMS system and document all tasks following proper procedures.
  • Conduct regular building inspections to assess operational conditions and take necessary follow-up actions.
  • Monitor facility system alarms and respond to utility outages or electrical power losses.
  • Manage spare parts for facility utilities and supplies to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Support facility projects including furniture moves, fixture mounting, and remodeling.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards including GMP, OSHA, FDA, and USDA.
  • Participate in the on-call program for emergency service as required.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in electrical or mechanical maintenance-related field, or a high school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or mechanical repair.
  • 4+ years of experience operating hand tools, power tools, multi-meters, and various test equipment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and compressed air systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work the designated Sunday–Wednesday night shift (10:00 pm – 8:30 am).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.

  • Professional certification in a maintenance-related field.
