Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment at peak performance
• Support new equipment installs and facility improvements
• Maintain the plant, buildings, and grounds
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean and safety programs
• Follow all EH&S safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with solid math skills
• Experience using multi-meters
• Experience working with motors, pumps, solenoids, and pneumatics
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical work including bending and kneeling
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts, including a regular night shift schedule after training

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lathe or mill operations
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift experience
