Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete minor repairs including patching holes, painting, furniture, doorknobs, locks, and light bulbs
• Repair washers, dryers, dishwashers, and small appliances
• Report inefficient or unsafe conditions to management
• Complete work orders and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform work using required safety equipment and following all safety procedures
• Assist with facility inspections, pest control, and snow removal from driveways and sidewalks
• Assist with center vehicle repairs and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of maintenance experience
• Experience working with youth
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
