Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and electrical systems
• Test electrical continuity and safety using ohmmeters, voltmeters, or ammeters
• Inspect electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or code compliance issues
• Install and troubleshoot VFDs, control boards (AC/DC), and equipment controls such as switches and potentiometers
• Read blueprints and sketches to determine wiring locations and ensure conformance to safety codes
• Install conduit, pipes, and tubing, and pull insulated wires through designated areas
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including moving heavy objects and working from ladders or scaffolds
• Assist with general mechanical maintenance duties throughout the facility

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of relevant maintenance or electrical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical NCCER Certification
