Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day maintenance needs across the corporate office and 10+ restaurant locations
• Perform general repairs including carpentry, painting, tiling, and basic electrical and plumbing tasks
• Troubleshoot facility issues and respond to maintenance requests via a ticketing system
• Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify and prevent repair needs
• Coordinate with and oversee third-party vendors for specialized repairs such as HVAC and electrical work
• Manage seasonal setup and breakdown projects, including outdoor patio installation and safety compliance
• Maintain exterior presentation, including the care of plants and greenery across locations

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or property operations
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to travel between multiple Chicagoland locations regularly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or multi-unit property management
• Relevant professional trade certificates
