About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on kitchen appliances and electrical systems
  • Maintain and repair camp plumbing and lift station systems
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical appliances and systems to ensure safety compliance
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and repairs
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and tools
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical circuits
  • Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen appliances
  • Experience in remote or fly-in/fly-out camp settings
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and health assessment
  • Ability to clear a criminal background check
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Journeyman Certification
  • First Aid with CPR certification
  • Experience with preventative maintenance software
