Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliable and safe operation of plant equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Provide support for PLC programming using Siemens and Allen Bradley systems
• Execute maintenance tasks in compliance with internal and external safety standards, including LOTO procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing tools
• Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to drive operational excellence

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience within the automotive industry
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens or Allen Bradley)
• Technical degree or incomplete engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related field
• Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule
• Understanding of safety protocols, including LOTO and working at heights
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 environmental standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and problem-solving methodologies
• Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
• Experience handling chemical substances
• Experience with hot work, pressure vessels, or confined spaces
