Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical equipment including generators, transformers, and motors
• Use welding equipment for layout and fitting
• Diagnose and correct trouble in electrical systems
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of machinery
• Follow preventive maintenance programs and conduct regular equipment inspections
• Perform minor and major repairs on buildings
• Provide on-the-job direction to new maintenance mechanics

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of related maintenance mechanic experience
• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and structural systems
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments with high noise levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade certifications for electrical or mechanical systems
