Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facilities
• Diagnose root cause of problems with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Perform routine, predictive, and preventive maintenance on all machinery
• Operate man lifts and forklifts to transport heavy parts and equipment
• Initiate and complete CMMS work orders utilizing Maintenance Connection
• Fabricate metal parts and perform welding as required
• Perform electrical repairs and installations of AC/DC drives, HMI screens, and high horsepower motors
• Respond to on-call emergencies as needed

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance scheduling and implementation
• Proficiency with lockout, tagout, and verify procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually
• Skilled in using hand tools, voltmeters, amp probes, and power tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program
