Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance and repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work
• Troubleshoot issues and complete work orders across the campus
• Support campus renovations and preventive maintenance programs
• Assist with grounds work and snow removal tasks
• Respond to after-hours calls as part of a rotating on-call schedule

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in building maintenance or skilled trades
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently
• Proficiency with various tools, equipment, and general construction methods
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with building automation systems (BAS/DDC)
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
