About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform property renovations, unit turnovers, and routine maintenance tasks
  • Handle electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and painting work
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems including light fixtures, outlets, fans, and garbage disposals
  • Complete scheduled and emergency repairs via a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure work is performed safely
  • Use hand/power tools, diagnostic meters, and AppFolio property management software
  • Document completed work and identify when to escalate to licensed vendors
  • Maintain property safety and cleanliness while providing customer service to tenants

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable truck or work van for traveling between properties
  • Entry-level experience in 1-2 trades, maintenance, or renovation
  • Ability to lift and move materials and follow safety protocols
  • Possession of personal hand tools preferred
  • Willingness to learn and work independently
