About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform property renovations, unit turnovers, and routine maintenance tasks
- Handle electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and painting work
- Troubleshoot and repair systems including light fixtures, outlets, fans, and garbage disposals
- Complete scheduled and emergency repairs via a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
- Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure work is performed safely
- Use hand/power tools, diagnostic meters, and AppFolio property management software
- Document completed work and identify when to escalate to licensed vendors
- Maintain property safety and cleanliness while providing customer service to tenants
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable truck or work van for traveling between properties
- Entry-level experience in 1-2 trades, maintenance, or renovation
- Ability to lift and move materials and follow safety protocols
- Possession of personal hand tools preferred
- Willingness to learn and work independently
