Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on plant equipment, including machinery, conveyors, and electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues to minimize production downtime
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems
• Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment to identify potential issues
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and repairs
• Suggest and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb
