Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond to all service calls within thirty minutes of receipt
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently on a daily basis
• Maintain pools, filters, and pumps daily
• Adjust televisions and program boxes
• Replace light bulbs and ballasts promptly
• Replace air filters on AC units regularly
• Repair vacuum cleaners and return them to service within two days
• Clean grounds, garages, and parking lots

Requirements

• Previous hotel engineering experience required
• Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchen, and general building construction
• Ability to understand and operate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical parts breakdowns
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High work ethic and self-initiative
• Vocational training, associate's degree, certification, or apprenticeship preferred
