Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute corrective, preventive, and predictive mechanical maintenance on Front-End or Back-End equipment to ensure optimal operational conditions.
• Plan and execute monthly preventive maintenance, ensuring control of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Perform repairs and adjustments through the assembly and disassembly of tools and equipment used in manufacturing.
• Analyze opportunities for improvement during maintenance interventions to minimize production losses.
• Register all interventions in the SAP system and manage material stock movements.
• Support the production area in identifying causes of machine downtime and improving equipment performance.
• Maintain the workspace according to 5S and Lean manufacturing practices.
• Follow all occupational health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Secondary school degree with a technical orientation in mechanical or electromechanical fields (required).
• 5 years of verifiable experience in industrial maintenance (required).
• Knowledge of technical drawing, hydraulics, and pneumatics (required).
• Proficiency with micrometers and comparators (required).
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including day and night (required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electric and oxyacetylene welding.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 22000, and 45001).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, VSM, Six Sigma, SMED, TPM, or Kaizen.
• Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Previous operational experience with BM, Minster, or Compactor equipment.
