About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on kitchen appliances and electrical systems
  • Maintain and repair camp plumbing and lift station systems
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical appliances and systems for safety compliance
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and repairs
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and tools

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License with clean abstract
  • Experience in remote or fly-in/fly-out camp settings
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems and camp lift stations
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen appliances
  • Ability to pass drug, alcohol, and fitness tests
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to work in extreme weather and remote conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Journeyman Plumber or Electrician Certification
  • First Aid with CPR certification
