Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment using diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications
• Execute repairs and minor construction for buildings and utilities across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC disciplines
• Utilize proper Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Use precision measuring instruments and specialty tools to locate and resolve mechanical issues
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by monitoring stock levels
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks to support repair activities
• Prioritize safety by adhering to company policies and addressing unsafe conditions proactively

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic math skills, including the ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently
• Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a workday

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in industrial maintenance
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes
• Technical education or experience as an electrical or mechanical technician
