Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and on-demand maintenance on multi-disciplinary manufacturing equipment and systems
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Install, qualify, and support enhancements or modifications to manufacturing machinery and processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities, and Quality
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all maintenance activities in the management system
• Adhere to all safety standards, including OSHA regulations and lockout/tag-out procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience in a maintenance or engineering environment supporting manufacturing operations
• Higher education, specialized training/certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of OSHA, local safety guidelines, and lockout/tag-out procedures
• Ability and willingness to handle gas cylinders, chemicals, and solvents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year Technical Degree or technical training
• Experience in a chemistry and/or biochemical manufacturing environment
• Experience with automation, robotics, high vacuum systems, or laser systems
• Experience with industrial control systems (PLCs), machining, and fabrication equipment
