Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor, repair, and maintain plumbing, pipefitting, and gearboxes throughout the facility
• Perform welding, torch, and plasma cutting to complete repairs
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs when appropriate
• Complete daily paperwork, equipment inspections, and locate parts for departments
• Maintain plant sanitation standards and perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a mechanically related field preferred
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications
• Experience operating forklifts, bobcats, and end-loaders
• Proficiency with hand tools including drills, hammers, screwdrivers, and pliers
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
