About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and refrigeration)
- Identify causes of simple breakdowns and implement repairs or temporary solutions
- Regularly inspect facilities to spot anomalies and prevent major issues
- Respond quickly to technical emergencies in restaurants
- Organize service requests based on urgency and manage administrative tracking
- Collaborate with restaurant management and guide external technicians during site visits
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations (CNESST / MAPAQ)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities management
- Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Experience with kitchen and refrigeration equipment maintenance
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time to cover various restaurant locations
- Proficiency in both French and English (verbal and written)
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
