Maintenance Technician 1

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Follow safety protocols, including LOTO and NFPA Safety Arc Flash guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient facility operation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Proficiency with multimeter usage and basic electrical AC/DC fundamentals
• Experience with PLC logic and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with welding and cutting (plasma and torch)
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electromechanical systems
• Familiarity with rigging, hand signals, and crane fundamentals
