Maintenance Tech Specialist

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, operate, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on hospital facilities and mechanical systems.
• Monitor and test machinery across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and boiler operation systems to diagnose malfunctions.
• Conduct and oversee repairs and upgrades to hospital systems as required.
• Estimate and order necessary materials for work projects.
• Perform rounding to identify and resolve regulatory compliance deficiencies.
• Coordinate work projects using knowledge of multiple trades and assist other maintenance technicians as needed.
• Adhere to all established safety procedures and interact professionally with staff and visitors.

Requirements

• 6 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification is required.
• Proven experience in at least 2 or more trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, stationary engineering, or carpentry).
• High School Diploma/GED or completion of Trade School.
• Must possess a Class A license or be willing to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
