Maintenance Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations for the 2nd shift to ensure production floor efficiency
• Diagnose machinery malfunctions and perform necessary repairs and process improvements
• Train, direct, and assist maintenance personnel within the area of responsibility
• Receive and complete work orders in a timely manner
• Perform weld fabrication for equipment such as guards, stands, and work benches
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
• Assist electricians and the preventative maintenance crew as required
• Communicate effectively with upper management and support other departments

Requirements

• Completion of an Industrial Maintenance apprenticeship program
• 1-2 years of related experience or training
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and welding systems
• Valid licenses for scissor lift, forklift, and crane operation
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in mathematical concepts including geometry and trigonometry
