Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of maintenance technicians and the maintenance clerk across all shifts.
• Assign and prioritize work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and corrective repairs to align with production schedules.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and lead troubleshooting efforts to minimize operational downtime.
• Execute the preventive maintenance program and ensure all tasks are documented accurately in the CMMS.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards, GMP requirements, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to the maintenance team.
• Coordinate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Assist with inventory management of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems and general maintenance practices.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Effective communication skills for directing team members and collaborating with management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or a related field.
• Experience with CMMS or work order management systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, GMP requirements, and food safety protocols.
