About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, including assigning work orders and prioritizing tasks
- Oversee third-party service contracts and vendor relationships
- Plan and coordinate cross-building maintenance and renovations
- Develop and maintain long-term plans for HVAC upgrades and facade improvements
- Perform hands-on maintenance including unit repairs, painting, and flooring
- Conduct regular site visits and quality inspections across all buildings
- Manage a preventative maintenance program for the maintenance fleet
- Recruit, onboard, and train new maintenance team members
- Act as Safety Officer to implement and monitor workplace safety programs
- Facilitate weekly planning meetings with General Managers
Requirements
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations
- Strong project planning and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-residential property management or facilities maintenance
