About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compliant, and reliable maintenance and operational support at the terminal level.
  • Demonstrate strong HSSE leadership, ensuring compliance with Shell Life Saving Rules and regulatory standards.
  • Act as an incident commander or first-line response leader during operational upsets or emergencies.
  • Supervise day-to-day activities of operators, guards, and contractors, providing on-the-job coaching.
  • Oversee maintenance execution for terminal mechanical systems, tanks, jetties, pipelines, and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with Engineering on CAPEX/OPEX planning and support project integration and handover.
  • Serve as a certified Shore Officer (Loading Master) to coordinate vessel loading/discharge operations.
  • Monitor preventive maintenance programs including Tank, Jetty, and Pipeline Integrity Programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in terminal operations with exposure to preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Knowledge of DGAME and Shell project execution practices.
  • Experience in contractor and stakeholder management.
  • Loading Master or Ship-Shore experience.
  • Valid certifications such as AESP, AGT, Safety Coordinator, or DOSH-recognized credentials.
  • Understanding of risk assessments, JHA, and JMS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering.
  • Completed FLBM AMS, Emergency Response (ER), and PTW training/certification.
