Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day maintenance functions and personnel for the 3rd shift, including labor scheduling and task assignment.
• Provide technical support through troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and training for maintenance staff.
• Partner with Operations on plant improvement initiatives and ensure all repairs meet industry and company standards.
• Evaluate team skills and establish training programs to coach and develop maintenance employees.
• Advise management on equipment issues and their direct impact on production output.
• Ensure all utilities, including refrigeration, electrical, steam, and compressed air systems, are in proper working order.
• Maintain technical documentation such as PLC ladder logic, blueprints, manuals, and SOPs.
• Monitor the work area to ensure a safe environment and strict adherence to plant safety rules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-8 years of experience in industrial automation.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, HMI, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Hands-on programming experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze mechanical and process control system functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Dairy, Food, or Beverage industry.
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley components and Bosch equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using MP2 or SAP.
