Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance service orders for tractor-trailers
• Update service records daily in the system and close completed orders
• Assign mechanics to specific units and supervise their repair work
• Coordinate with mechanics to identify required spare parts and place orders with the warehouse
• Conduct physical inventory of tractor-trailers in the yard to schedule preventive maintenance
• Coordinate with the operations department for unit entry into the workshop
• Manage the transfer of units to external repair shops and process repair orders for payment
• Lead weekly safety meetings and ensure all staff use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Supervise daily safety and hygiene conditions within the workshop area

Requirements

• Minimum age of 24 years old
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of tractor-trailer maintenance and diesel mechanics
• Expertise in diesel engines and proficiency with hand tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proven ability in personnel management, communication, and teamwork
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
