Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient equipment operation
• Oversee, coach, and motivate maintenance technicians to meet productivity and performance goals
• Schedule maintenance activities and manage preventive maintenance to maximize machine uptime
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including problem-solving and 5S methodologies
• Promote a safe work environment and enforce strict adherence to safe work practices
• Analyze operations to recommend improvements for labor, material, and equipment efficiency
• Support the installation and integration of new machinery and equipment
• Maintain accurate employee records, including payroll, attendance, and performance management
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment and process performance

Requirements

• Vocational training or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of mechanical or electrical experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
• Proven troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, and programming)
• Experience using CMMS and implementing maintenance reliability practices
• Completion of the NOCTI assessment
• Ability to understand and work within labor contracts
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work a flexible schedule across shifts
