Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment across shop areas, operational areas, and grounds.
• Supervise and audit the work of employees responsible for repairing and maintaining buildings and facilities.
• Partner with Operations to develop and execute efficient preventative maintenance schedules.
• Manage maintenance personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Coordinate alarm-monitoring systems, sprinkler system testing, and act as the primary contact for fire, safety, and sanitation inspections.
• Ensure facility compliance with Corporate, OSHA, FDA, AIB, or ASI standards.
• Manage local vendor relationships, assist with budget reviews, and track maintenance expenses.

Requirements

• 4+ years of field experience in maintenance or a related area.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, and FDA regulations.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours).
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (required in certain locations).

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant field certifications.
• Experience with new construction or property modification projects.
