Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the Maintenance department and its staff members across a three-shift rotation.
• Oversee all trades on the assigned shift to ensure machine robustness and minimize production downtime.
• Develop and manage PM schedules in coordination with production needs.
• Analyze machine downtime to identify, troubleshoot, and correct mechanical problems.
• Train, develop, mentor, and discipline subordinates to ensure a productive and safe workforce.
• Ensure availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for facility installations, repairs, and upgrades.
• Maintain maintenance-related records and ensure adherence to company policies, including Health and Safety.

Requirements

• Millwright, Electrical, and/or Tool & Die trades certification.
• 5-10 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a unionized environment.
• Knowledge of IATF certifications and audits.
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
• Proficiency in basic Windows computer software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with E-Maintenance or similar maintenance management software.
• Previous experience working with industrial presses.
• Knowledge of automotive industry processes and operations.
