Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Direct and control resources to execute preventative and reactive maintenance on optical manufacturing equipment
• Maximize equipment availability through root cause analysis and effective technician utilization
• Ensure individual and team safety by adhering to plant safety and environmental objectives and LOTO protocols
• Use CMMS data and reports to pinpoint problem areas and enhance technician productivity
• Coordinate with Production Managers to set maintenance priorities and ensure work is executed efficiently
• Assess technician technical capabilities and coordinate training or education to bridge skill gaps
• Track technician performance against department and facility KPIs, providing coaching and feedback
• Manage technician time, attendance, and reported labor accuracy
• Partner with inventory control to manage min/max quantities, rebuilds, and obsolete parts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or an Associate’s degree with related experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, prints, and building plans
• Knowledge of LOTO, SDS, PPE, and standard safe working practices
• Experience with PLC, motor controls, conveyors, and industrial air systems
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and fire protection systems
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP)
• Professional training or certification in areas such as arc flash, first aid, or CPR
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Team Lead, or Foreman
