About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance operations, including the compilation of reports and statistics related to key performance measures.
- Manage the facility maintenance budget, including reviewing SAP reports and tracking YTD expenditures.
- Utilize KIWI and SAP systems to track mechanical/electrical downtime, reliability indices, and maintenance breakdowns.
- Manage the work order system, tracking tasks through completion and reporting on efficiency to the leadership team.
- Conduct weekly maintenance priority meetings with production leadership to plan and prioritize upcoming projects.
- Plan maintenance projects by scheduling personnel and contractors, managing budgets, and ensuring parts inventory.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to schedule predictive and preventative maintenance activities.
- Lead Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives, including air permitting, HAZMAT, and contractor training.
- Oversee facility storeroom inventory and parts management using SAP.
- Act as a backup for the Maintenance Manager, providing direct supervision to hourly technicians as needed.
Requirements
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience, or demonstrated situational leadership skills.
- Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, or general maintenance troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively, and communicate with strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work off-shifts, late nights, or weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a corrugated manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience utilizing SAP, KIWI, or ePAD systems.
- Experience with predictive/preventative maintenance programs, inventory management, and capital project planning.
