Maintenance Supervisor (Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical)

Responsibilities

• Execute work plans and schedules while providing oversight to maintenance groups
• Manage technicians performing instrumentation, controls, and electrical repairs
• Oversee the maintenance of Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) for environmental compliance
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental compliance, productivity, and quality standards
• Identify and address workplace barriers following the Duke Energy work management program
• Manage employee development and performance for the assigned maintenance craft
• Communicate organizational plans and direction effectively to the workforce

Requirements

• Associates degree and 3 years of related work experience, OR High school/GED and 7 years of related work experience
• 3 years of previous supervisory experience
• 5-7 years of plant maintenance experience
• Knowledge of generating station systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of generating station systems, equipment, and processes
• Demonstrated effective leadership and communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong computer skills and ability to use various applications
• Financial knowledge and the ability to analyze data
• Ability to read, comprehend, inspect, calculate, and make sound decisions
