About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines
- Plan, prioritize, and assign maintenance work orders aligned with production needs and reliability targets
- Drive execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and lead root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Planning teams to optimize maintenance schedules and plant efficiency
- Monitor and analyze maintenance KPIs such as downtime, PM compliance, backlog, and MTBF
- Oversee accurate documentation of maintenance activities within CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo)
- Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and capital projects to ensure timely and safe execution
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 2+ years of experience supervising or leading maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
- Familiarity with CMMS systems such as SAP or Maximo
- Solid understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
- Experience leading maintenance in a continuous manufacturing environment
- Certification in maintenance/reliability (e.g., CMRP) or technical trade certifications
- Experience supporting capital projects or large-scale plant turnarounds
