Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance employees in the repair and preventive maintenance of mobile and fixed equipment
• Ensure all maintenance is performed safely and technically correctly
• Maintain a mixed fleet of equipment to serve changing customer needs
• Provide leadership to internal maintenance teams, external vendors, and suppliers
• Provide technical guidance for corrective and preventative maintenance activities
• Manage short and long-term maintenance planning within budget
• Create scope of work for major repairs and assist in troubleshooting
• Provide guidance and training to maintenance crew members

Requirements

• 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in heavy mobile equipment, static processing plants, locomotives, or gantry cranes
• Or 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a fast-paced customer-oriented service environment
• Or 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in steel mills, quarries, mining, or material processing
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness to participate in safety, quality, and environmental audits

Preferred Qualifications

• Sound mechanical knowledge of medium and large wheel loaders, scraper tractors, diesel locomotives, gantry cranes, or material processing plants
