Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise leads and mechanics in their daily activities to ensure production equipment is in good operable condition
• Develop, implement, and follow up on plans to accomplish departmental goals and objectives
• Maintain and improve the preventive maintenance program, ensuring all schedules are followed according to manufacturer recommendations
• Perform safety and sanitation audits and participate in safety, quality, and food safety committees
• Monitor the work order system to ensure safety and operational work orders are addressed promptly
• Train mechanics and production personnel in troubleshooting techniques and equipment operation
• Ensure all equipment complies with OSHA regulations and operates in a safe manner

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity (or 4 years as a lead) in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in electrical and PLC troubleshooting and programming
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and strong electrical skills regarding power and control
• Ability to work the night shift (2nd shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or food/beverage manufacturing
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of regulatory inspectors such as AIB, BRC, OSHA, or Health Department
