Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct maintenance personnel to ensure continuous production operations.
• Train and support maintenance technicians and electricians in all repair and maintenance activities.
• Review job orders to determine priorities and schedule the installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Supervise maintenance activities on utility systems, including heat, steam, electric power, gas, and air.
• Facilitate the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program and perform regular inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental, and food safety policies.
• Manage personnel tasks including scheduling, timecard approval, performance reviews, and conducting interviews.
• Coordinate with management and engineering to resolve technical problems and improve equipment conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP, and ADP.
• Experience in welding and reading blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to perform medium work, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing vertical ladders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
