Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute monthly schedules for maintenance technicians and coordinate daily operational priorities.
• Lead and supervise the maintenance team through regular on-site meetings, task assignment, and continuous training.
• Oversee external contractors to ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for campus infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.
• Handle procurement tasks, including managing purchase orders, tracking inventories, and overseeing maintenance budgets.
• Support emergency evaluations, coordinate insurance claims, and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Technical qualification in building maintenance, electrical, mechanical systems, or a related field (CFC or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, ideally within hospitality or educational environments.
• Proven experience supervising teams or coordinating external contractors.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss safety standards and building regulations.
• Proficiency in building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, access control, and fire safety.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French.
• Strong organizational, planning, and reporting skills with proficiency in maintenance tracking tools and Excel.
